Inspiration: In this variation, Corinne Tichadou continues her sensitive exploration of Mediterranean landscapes. Two stylized trees, with dark and vaporous tops, stand out against a gradient background ranging from powder pink to more gray and earthy tones. The trunks, thin and sinuous, seem to dance or vibrate, as if stirred by an invisible breeze.
The material here is more subtly textured: the grainy, almost textile base accentuates the impression of depth and movement. This work on the contrast between the delicacy of the composition and the density of the black foliage reinforces the contemplative aspect of the work.

Tichadou captures here a meditative essence of the landscape, in a scene where the purity becomes language. Pins Parasol II functions as an intimate echo of the first part, affirming the artist’s ability to make the repetitive motif a source of renewed emotion. The light wood frame extends this warm sobriety.

 Corinne Tichadou

France

Corinne Tichadou is a female painter working and living in Beziers, Southern France. Her painting is contemporary, figurative, mythological, biblical, allegorical and contemplative. It weaves links between the past and the present. Through mythology, tales, theatre, opera, biblical stories and her love for Italian Renaissance painting, she seeks timelessness as a philosophy. She paints the human being and questions it about its relationship to the world: to love, to family, to its courage, to its destiny, to its place in society.
