Michelle Crouzet’s brass jewellery draws inspiration from the forms and symbols of Antiquity, spanning mythology, nature, and archaeological traces. Rings, bracelets, cuffs and pendants evoke animals, fish, foliage, and engraved figures, like timeless talismans. Intentionally left raw and patinated, the material recalls buried treasures and votive adornments, transforming each piece into an object of memory and identity.
Trained at Studio Berçot, Michelle Crouzet first built her career in the world of fashion and textiles. For several years, she ran a spinning and weaving company, developing collections of clothing and interior fabrics for international markets, in constant dialogue with materials and evolving trends.
At the crossroads of art and craftsmanship, Michelle Crouzet develops a practice in which jewellery becomes a fragment of history, carrying meaning as much as presence.
