Enfilade by Alain Richard published by Meubles TV in the 50s. The elm veneer structure opens on the façade through two sliding doors on shelves and drawers, and rests on a black lacquered metal base. The designer’s plaque is visible inside. The model 196 is a rare reference that is part of the vision of its creator, where rigor is combined with an aesthetic in the continuity of a classic French tradition.

Alain Richard (1926-2017) graduated major in 1949 from the Ecole nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs, trained by his workshop leader René Gabriel. He participates in various projects for Orly airport, the Banque de France or RATP. With his wife Jacqueline Iribe they created their own agency in the 50s. His creations published by Meubles TV are a great success in France and abroad. He received, among others, the grand prize of the Milan Triennial and the René Gabriel prize in 1964.

Very good condition after a careful cleaning to revive the varnish by a professional cabinetmaker.
