Model: This pair of harnesses from the 1940s is striking for its geometric architecture. On each piece, a chrome-plated metal sheathed cubic base supports four mahogany uprights, which support a square marble top attached to the structure. The play of contrasts between the materials and the sharpness of the lines link this rare model to the heritage of Art Deco. Designed to highlight a sculpture, vase or other art object, the harnesses can be displayed side by side or each on their own.
Condition: These stelae show some traces of time, consistent with their age, which add to their character.
