Inspiration: the Dürer lamp, as its name suggests, comes straight from a famous sixteenth-century engraving by Albrecht Dürer (1471-1528) “Melancolia”. This work of art has exhausted all attempts at interpretation about it. Regardless, the mysterious geometric shape that occupies a good part of the composition, escapes the classic works of geometry. I wanted to give it a three-dimensional existence, with this lamp. It looks like a squared block of stone, a crystal with asymmetrical facets. It is an atypical purity, an object that raises a thousand questions and opens the doors of the imagination.

Warranty: Signature drawn by hand under the base.
