Inspiration : “This piece was born from the convergence of multiple inspirations that, at first glance, may seem unrelated. One of my first artistic emotions was the wonder of Dalí’s Elephants—those slender, fragile legs supporting massive, surreal forms. This feeling of tension, of an overwhelming weight held in precarious balance, marked me deeply and inspired this creation. For this pedestal table, I wanted to push the limits of bronze, by lengthening her legs to the extreme without resorting to additional reinforcements. The result is a delicate yet resilient structure, which embodies both fragility and strength. To emphasize this duality, I named the collection after the famous song by the British post-punk band Joy Division, in reference to epileptic seizures—a metaphor for the struggle between control and chaos, which resonates at the heart of this work.” William Guillon
