D'UN MONDE, L'AUTRE (B612): Dainche, Marie-Pierre Biau and Nicolas Aubagnac exhibit at OΔK Bordeaux
From November 25 to December 31, OΔK / ONEOFAKIND invites you to discover the works of three extraordinary artists in its ephemeral gallery on Place Tourny in Bordeaux. This new art and design exhibition brings together Dainche’s sculptures and paintings, Marie-Pierre Biau’s drawings and Nicolas Aubagnac’s furniture and lighting.
A light and optimistic note, a melody with fresh and spontaneous accents that is reminiscent of the dreamlike universe of the Little Prince of Saint Exupéry. The sympathetic but intriguing bestiary of Dainche , is revealed at the whim of a galaxy of imaginary worlds under the fine and meticulous trait of Marie-Pierre Biau . A timeless ode to creativity and reflection among Nicolas Aubagnac‘sprecious furniture and stellar lighting.
At the same time painter, sculptor, draftsman and photographer, Dainche is a lover of nature that he feeds on since childhood. He shares through his art the sensitive language of the universe, and particularly of the plant and animal world. Trained in drawing by Luc Peltriaux, director of the Academy of Drawing of Toulouse, Marie-Pierre Biau plunges us into celestial or underwater worlds. His abstract drawings evoke infinitely small universes like so many imaginary maps. Interior designer, Nicolas Aubagnac first became known for his lighting. The PAD opened its doors to him in 2002, giving him a more international audience. Since then, his creations can be found in the most beautiful interiors around the world. It now offers new furniture exclusively for the OΔK gallery.
