JUNE 2022 / SOPHIE BRILLOUET, Shell sculptor
Settled in Charente Maritime, Sophie Brillouet first went through directing for several years before devoting herself to shells that she always uses whole and natural, assembled on a stucco base. It is therefore naturally in 2015, that she founded her studio, signing creations sometimes sculptural, sometimes mural, seen at the OAK Gallery or for decorators. In two or three dimensions, it manages to create a movement inspired by organic life forms, whether it is the earth, the flora or the atmosphere.
