Inspiration: “For this series entitled Peregrinations, the idea was to transcribe memories of walks, visits to places in the south of France. A universe where the expression of these sometimes blurred memories mingles with romanticized images that are expressed via muted tones. A precise moment when it is no longer daylight but not yet quite night. Between dream and reality.” Rémy Allamand

Two groups of cypresses face each other in a dark expanse, separated by a void that becomes a space of tension and breathing. The composition, reduced to a few slender shapes against a veiled sky, plays on the fragile balance between appearance and erasure. Through a palette of muted browns and deep blacks, the artist creates a meditative atmosphere, where the gaze lingers on the variations of light in the shadows. Here, the landscape is no longer a simple representation but becomes a threshold, a place of waiting and silence.
