Inspiration: “From the Latin exmovere, to set in motion, to shake, from which the verb to move derives, the series holds these two meanings together. Movement no longer moves objects: it distorts them. The bottles undulate, the glass seems to liquefy, the contours soften and the materials gain an almost tactile sensitivity. Pear, pomegranate or lemon: the most humble motifs of the tradition are remodelled until they join the vocabulary of painting, that of touch and gesture. Each image becomes the place of a silent metamorphosis, where seeing is already the same as experiencing.“
