Inspiration: This candle holder takes up the sobriety of shapes and the elegance of polished brass. The flame, placed in the center of the object, becomes the only light source and transforms the metal into a vibrating mirror. Through it, the artist explores the intimate and timeless ritual of light.

A 2013 graduate of the École Boulle, Marion Mezenge is a French artisan-designer specializing in metalwork. After several years working in high-end lighting workshops, she founded her own studio in 2019. Her creations—lighting and interior objects in brass, bronze, and aluminum—explore the relationship between material and light. Winner of the 2024 Young Creation Métiers d’Art Prize, she develops a unique universe where artisanal tradition and contemporary design meet.
