Materials : Calacatta marble, a bright white stone that serves as a backdrop for a grain that ranges in colour from brown to grey and gold. Calacatta marble is extracted from the Apuan mountain range in the Carrara region of Italy.

Designer: Aurélia Biré is an object and furniture designer. A graduate of the Boston Consulting Group and the Chelsea College of Art and Design in London, Aurelia carries with her the legacy of the most illustrious French decoration house of the twentieth century, the Jansen house, presided over for several decades by her grandfather Pierre Deshays. Her creations inspired by nature and landscapes deal with universal themes as well as simple gestures. Through her training and eclectic experiences, Aurélia has a unique approach to projects, blurring the boundaries between categories and reinventing the classic way things are done.
