MAY JUNE 2023 / AT CAP FERRET, A HAVEN OF SUMMER PEACE / by Marie Maud Levron, photos Cécile Perrinet Lhermite
FAR FROM THE TRADITIONAL FERRETCAPIAN HUTS, THIS HOLIDAY HOME OFFERS A MORE CONTEMPORARY VERSION. MAXIMUM USE OF SPACE, LARGE OPENINGS ON THE GARDEN AND POOL, PRESERVED ENVIRONMENT ALLOWING TO LIVE IN COMPLETE PRIVACY.
In each living space, the scenographic biases create very distinct universes.
In the summer lounge area, Sophie Sibé designed an L-shaped bench made of brick and covered with waxed concrete. Large painting from the series “NUAGE BLANC SUR HORIZON PRESQUE NOIR”, BY Béatrice Pontacq for the OAK gallery.
A second living room is organized in front of the fireplace. Sophie has designed on both sides a linear brick structure that serves as much as an extra seat as a coffee table and under which she stores the logs. Shell wall sculptures from the METAMORPHOSES series by Sophie Brillouet and painting by Béatrice Pontacq . All at Galerie OAK.
