URCA & ALTONA: EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHS AT THE SISMANN GALLERY FROM 8 TO 24 SEPTEMBER

Galerie OΔK and Galerie SISMANN offer you an unprecedented collaboration between contemporary photography and ancient arts.

Thalie B. Vernet’s fascinating photographs are being displayed at the SISMANN Gallery,among a selection of European sculptures from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Classical and Baroque periods to the eighteenth century.

Of shadow and light, this new series by Thalie B. Vernet is enriched with vibrant and undulating silhouettes like the waves that gave birth to Urca & Altona. From the bed of the river, the artist photographer revives under his lens Nymphs and Naiads, mystical and mysterious evocations of forgotten legends.
