SUMMER FESTIVAL: GAETANO PESCE IN THE SPOTLIGHT UNTIL SEPTEMBER 9TH

The OAK Gallery remains open until July 28th and will resume its programming from August 30th for the start of the new school year .

On the occasion of the release by Phaidon of a new monograph by Gaetano Pesce entitled The Complete Inconsistency , our summer exhibition gives pride of place to the collectible furniture imagined by the artist for Zerodisegno and Fish Design in the 2000s. The pieces presented were acquired by two French collectors from Gaetano Pesce’s official galleries at that time and are offered with their original certificates and/or invoices. As Gaetano wanted, each piece of furniture is a unique work signed and dated where the resins of colors mix according to the process defined by this creator. Some seats had to be restored by a polyurethane resin specialist to reinforce certain backrests (museum-type repair therefore visible but discreet).

This exhibition also allows to see or review until September 9, the drawings of Sylvie Peyneau , including a unique and unpublished tapestry made by Chantal Mommejac on a model by Sylvie, but also the furniture of the Jardins de Rohuna d’ Umberto Pasti, the shell clouds of Sophie Brillouet , ceramics of Béatrice Garrigo and de Dainche , the functional sculptures of Yves & Benjamin Pagart, Hoon Moreau and Clotilde Ancarani .

A décor enriched with seats, coffee tables and vintage collectible lighting by Emmanuelle Vidal, Antique dealer specializing in design from the 50s to the 80s.
