CONFLUENCES, Art among waters.

Female artists of OΔK gallery are in the spotlight with a new exhibition entitled CONFLUENCES. An exceptional collection of artist’s furniture designed and created by Hoon Moreau will mingle with Marie-Pierre Biau’s pointillist drawings. Like embroidery made with ink and paper, these drawings evoke an infinite patience, a quality faithfully reflected in the sculptor’s work in a sensual ode to time and movement.

Marie-Pierre Biau’s drawings evoke infinitely small universes like so many imaginary maps. It plunges us into celestial or underwater worlds, dragging us into a sensory contemplation caused by its plastic vocabulary made of dots, lines and circles. Undulating, exhilarating and elusive, his art as a fluid circulates around the powerful sculptures of Hoon Moreau like so many gnarled trunks or megaliths. An invitation to get lost in the infinity of the cosmos or in the underwater depths.

Presented in a collector’s apartment, among a hundred major works by the artists of the OΔK gallery and a new selection of vintage furniture, the exhibition CONFLUENCES welcomes you 8 Allée Frédéric Mistral 31400 Toulouse by appointment from Monday to Saturday.
