Inspiration : These fragments of air, of softness, these feathers and its golds at the edges of the lips make the mind shift into an identifiable and undulating organic form, the furrows of a disc that has been magnified a thousand times, a Soulage inverted in white that would make the surrounding vibrations appear. There is water in these shiny terracottas, water from the past, time imprisoned and moments of astonishment. This shock of chance pushed Dora Stanczel to other territories. She focuses on this fall into the stratification and immerses unexpected shapes in her ceramic kiln. Out of this emerges creatures that belong to sculpture, twisted glass, shells and haute couture. And then some pieces break, and then some dips in the kiln go badly, and little by little his hands discover other ways of the material, his eyes fall on new aesthetic data, in particular those of the light traps in the crevices of the drapery.
