Hyun Joo Hong is a visual artist who graduated from the Dongguk University School of Fine Arts (Seoul, South Korea) and is currently based in Paris, France. She is recognized for her unique artistic approach, which blends Korean tradition and contemporary aesthetics. Her work is characterized by a harmonious fusion of serenity and dynamism, light and darkness, nature and geometry. She creates works that are moving quotations from her own unfolding universe. Hyun Joo Hong embodies a generation of Korean artists who reinterpret ancestral traditions through a contemporary sensibility.
