L'EAU DES SONGES, CORINNE TICHADOU EXHIBITS HER WORKS AT THE ROYAL FACTORY
From June 6, 2025 and for its 3rd edition of a Summer in Montolieu, the OΔK Toulouse Gallery presents L’EAU DES SONGES by the visual artist CORINNE TICHADOU on the historic walls of the Manufacture Royale de Montolieu.
Through the exhibition “L’Eau des Songes”, the artist Corinne Tichadou invites us to dive into a universe where the depths of the sea meet the shores of dreams. Presented in the exceptional setting of the Manufacture Royale de Montolieu, in the Aude, this summer exhibition, orchestrated in collaboration with the OAK Oneofakind Gallery in Toulouse, deploys a series of works that are at once dreamlike, mythological and organic.
Enigmatic mermaids, human-looking fish, solitary divers or flamboyant corals make up a gallery of aquatic visions, shaped by matter and nourished by the imagination. Water, the common thread of this pictorial exploration, becomes here a mirror of the subconscious, a theatre of metamorphoses and a refuge of silent emotions.
Each painting by Corinne Tichadou, marked by a strong tactile and symbolic sensitivity, evokes a story to be guessed, a song to be listened to. In this world suspended between land and sea, reality and fiction, the artist pursues a work of visual poetry where femininity, nature and memory come together in a singular harmony.
L’Eau des Songes is a sensory and meditative immersion, an invitation to let yourself be carried away by the fluidity of dreams.

The Royal Manufacture is located in Montolieu in the Aude in the heart of Occitania. A protected historical monument of French heritage, built in 1739, the building delights enthusiasts, mixing sober industrial architecture and Louis XV classicism.
