Inspiration: With Piercing, Yves Pagart and Pierre Grinbaum explore the encounter between the purity of wood and the roughness of metal. The circular top, of a sober elegance, is crossed by dark metallic elements that seem to perforate it, giving the table its name and singularity. The legs, sculptural extensions of these anchors, give the whole a visual tension between balance and constraint, fragility and strength. More than just a piece of furniture, Piercing affirms an aesthetic of assembly where ornament becomes structure, and where raw material dialogues with the finesse of the lines.
