La Galerie OΔK @oneofakind.gallery présente, à partir du 6 Juin 2025 et pour sa 3ème édition d’un Été à Montolieu, L’EAU DES SONGES de la plasticienne @tichadou.corinne sur les murs historiques de @la_manufacture_royale de Montolieu dans l’Aude. À travers l’exposition “L’Eau des Songes”, l’artiste Corinne Tichadou nous invite à plonger dans un univers où les profondeurs marines rencontrent les rivages du rêve. Présentée dans le cadre exceptionnel de la Manufacture Royale de Montolieu, dans l’Aude, cette exposition estivale, orchestrée en collaboration avec la Galerie OAK Oneofakind de Toulouse, déploie une série d’œuvres à la fois oniriques, mythologiques et organiques. Sirènes énigmatiques, poissons aux allures humaines, plongeurs solitaires ou coraux flamboyants composent une galerie de visions aquatiques, modelées par la matière et nourries par l’imaginaire. Hyun Joo Hong is a visual artist who graduated from the Dongguk University School of Fine Arts (Seoul, South Korea) and is currently based in Paris, France. She is recognized for her unique artistic approach, which blends Korean tradition and contemporary aesthetics. Her work is characterized by a harmonious fusion of serenity and dynamism, light and darkness, nature and geometry. She creates works that are moving quotations from her own unfolding universe. Hyun Joo Hong embodies a generation of Korean artists who reinterpret ancestral traditions through a contemporary sensibility. The works in this series feature compositions where natural elements, such as trees and forests, are depicted with special attention to detail and texture. This monochrome approach accentuates the depth and sculptural dimension of the subjects, offering a new perspective on nature.
The term EUM (음) in Korean can be associated with concepts such as sound, resonance, or shadow, evoking notions of duality and complementarity. In the context of this series, he suggests an exploration of the hidden or subtle aspects of nature, highlighting the interactions between light and dark, presence and absence. MOON CHANG DAWN pour 조용한 울림 (Résonance Silencieuse) @oneofakind.gallery du 15 Mai au 15 Juin 2025, Place Montoulieu à Toulouse. Depuis plus de trente ans, Moon Chang Dawn explore les notions de profondeur, d’espace et de mouvement cosmique. Ses œuvres, souvent réalisées en technique mixte sur toile, intègrent des motifs tels que des doubles hélices d’ADN ou des feuilles en bas-relief, symbolisant le mouvement du cosmos et les dimensions spatiales. Il utilise des matériaux variés comme le métal, la résine acrylique et le panneau de fibres à densité moyenne pour créer des textures riches et dynamiques. Son processus créatif, mêlant coulures, vaporisations, brûlures et refroidissements, évoque la formation de l’univers, capturant des instants après des explosions cosmiques, dans une métaphore du processus sans fin de création et de disparition .
